The Main Interface

Sidebar Navigation

The left sidebar is your primary navigation:

The sidebar adapts to your enabled modules — sections for disabled modules are hidden by default. Admins can reorder sidebar sections under Settings → Menu Customization.

Collapsing the Sidebar

• Click the hamburger icon (☰) to collapse
• Hover to temporarily expand
• Click again to restore full sidebar

Command Palette

The fastest way to navigate and act.

Opening the Palette

• Keyboard: Ctrl+K (Windows) or Cmd+K (Mac)
• Click: Search icon in the header

The palette shows your recent:

Global Search

From the command palette or header:

• Search across all modules
• Find documents, vendors, employees
• Recent searches remembered

Module Search

Within each module:

• Filtered to that module’s data
• More specific filters available
• Saved searches option

Search Tips

• Use quotes for exact phrases: "Acme Corp"
• Use filters: status:overdue, vendor:acme
• Use date ranges: created:last-week

At the top of detail pages:

Home > Vendors > Acme Corp > Contracts > Master Agreement

• Click any level to navigate up
• Shows your current location
• Helps maintain context

Sidebar Order

Reorder sidebar items:

1. Go to Settings → Preferences
2. Find Sidebar Order
3. Drag items to reorder
4. Save changes

Default Page

Set your landing page:

1. Go to Settings → Preferences
2. Set Default Page
3. Choose: Home, Documents, or any module

Theme

Switch between light and dark:

1. Settings → Preferences → Theme
2. Or use command palette: theme dark
