Finance Calendar

View upcoming bills, invoice due dates, payment runs, and financial events in a unified calendar. Plan cash flow by seeing every obligation at a glance.

Finance Calendar is the time-based view of your Finance module. It aggregates upcoming obligations — vendor bill due dates, customer invoice payment windows, scheduled payment runs, and recurring billing cycles — into a single calendar grid so your team can plan cash flow without switching between screens.

How Finance Calendar Fits Together

Vendor Bills → Due Dates on Calendar
Customer Invoices → Expected Payment Windows
Payment Runs → Scheduled Execution Dates
Recurring Bills → Next Generation Dates

The calendar reads live data from across Finance. Every event is a direct link to the underlying record.

Event Types

Finance Calendar shows five categories of events:

Bills Due — Vendor bills approaching or past their due date. Color-coded by urgency (upcoming / overdue / paid).

Customer Invoice Windows — Expected payment dates for sent customer invoices. Helps you forecast incoming cash.

Payment Runs — Scheduled and executed batch payment runs. Click through to see which bills were paid.

Recurring Generation — Next dates when recurring bills or invoices will auto-generate. Lets you prepare approvals in advance.

Financial Reminders — Events created by the Finance Calendar settings, such as tax filing deadlines or board report due dates.

Use the month navigation arrows (« ») to move between months. Click any event to open the linked record. The sidebar shows a summary of upcoming events for the next 30 days.

For keyboard navigation, use the arrow keys to move between dates and Enter to open an event.

Scheduling and Integration

Finance Calendar events are derived automatically from your Finance data — no manual entry required for bills, invoices, or payment runs. You can add custom financial reminders through the + Add Event button.

Events sync in real time: when you approve a bill or schedule a payment run, the calendar updates immediately.
