Referral Program
Refer other organizations to Muin and earn 10% subscription credits for up to 12 months. How referral codes, links, and rewards work.
Share Muin with your network and both sides win: you earn account credits worth 10% of each referred organization’s subscription, and they get 10% off for their first 12 months. Credits apply automatically to your invoices — no forms, no gift cards.
How It Works
- Open Settings → Refer a Friend to find your personal referral code and shareable link.
- Send the link to an organization you think would benefit from Muin. Clicks are tracked, so the referral still counts if they sign up later (within 90 days of the click).
- They sign up — either through your link or by entering your code during registration.
- When they make their first subscription payment, the referral becomes active: their discount starts, and your credits start.
What You Earn
- 10% of the referred organization’s plan price, credited to your account each month they remain a paying subscriber.
- Credits continue for up to 12 paid months per referral.
- Up to 7 referrals can be active at the same time — your Refer a Friend page shows how many slots you have open.
- Credits stack across referrals: three active referrals on comparable plans can offset a substantial share of your own subscription. Your page shows your effective price — what you actually pay after credits.
What They Get
The organization you refer gets 10% off their subscription for 12 months. Discounts in Muin don’t stack — the single largest discount wins. If your referee qualifies for a bigger program discount (such as a nonprofit discount), they automatically get that better rate instead.
Tracking Your Referrals
The Refer a Friend page shows:
- Active Referrals — how many are currently generating credits, and slots available
- Monthly Credit — what you’re earning right now
- Total Credited — lifetime credits earned
- My Referrals tab — every referral with status (signed up, trial, active, churned) and the credit each generates
- Credit History tab — each monthly credit as it’s issued
Statuses to know: a referral shows Signed Up when the organization registers, becomes Active on their first payment (credits start), and shows Churned if they cancel (credits stop from that point).

The Affiliate Track (Cash Commissions)
The in-app program pays account credits. There is also a separate affiliate program that pays cash commissions for partners who refer at volume — with its own portal, payout schedule (monthly on the 15th, after a 30-day hold), and tax documentation.
