Content and Template Admin
Platform-admin content screens: what the AI generators are costing and how often they fall back, the insight-strip templates your organization reuses, and the embeddable widget showcase.
Three admin screens for the content Muin generates and the content you embed. Owner and admin only.
When you’d use this
- You want to know what the AI generators actually cost last month before enabling more of them.
- The same note or nudge needs to appear for your team on a specific screen, every time.
- You are putting a Muin widget on your own website and want to see the options first.
AI generation usage
- Go to Administration → AI Generation (
/admin/ai-generation). - The figures cover the last 30 days: every LLM call a generator made, counted from the LLM audit log.
- Fallback rate is how often a generator could not use its preferred path. Accepted and Accept rate show how often a human kept the draft. The cost figure is summed from the same audit rows.
- “No tenant has asked a generator for a draft in the last 30 days” means exactly that; numbers appear as soon as one does.
A high fallback rate with a low accept rate is the signal to revisit tone and terminology in AI Settings.
Insight templates
An insight strip is the short, actionable line Muin shows at the top of a screen. Templates make yours reusable.
- Go to Administration → Insight Templates (
/admin/insight-templates). - Select + New Template.
- Fill in Key (a unique identifier, auto-generated), Type, Audience, the headline, an Icon (an icon name or emoji) and an optional Detail shown in the expanded view.
- Actions adds a Primary Action and a Secondary Action, each with an Action Type and a Target URL/Path.
- Targeting and Priority sets Target Routes as a comma-separated list, for example
/documents, /invoices, /settings. Leave it empty to show on all pages. Priority decides which template wins when more than one matches. - Scheduling sets a Start Date and End Date, and Active controls whether it runs at all.
Templates Muin ships are marked System and are Read-only. Yours are listed as custom templates and can be edited or deleted. Higher-priority templates are shown first.
Embeddable widget showcase
- Go to Administration → Demo Widgets (
/admin/demo/widgets). - Each card shows one widget, what it is Best for, and a Copy snippet button for the embed code.
- This is a Demo-only page: it exists to show you what the widgets look like and to hand you the snippet.
What it affects
- Nothing on the AI generation screen changes behavior; it is a report. Change behavior in AI Settings.
- An active insight template appears for the audience you chose, on the routes you targeted, for everyone in that audience.
- An end date in the past retires a template silently, so check the dates if a nudge has stopped appearing.
- Copying a widget snippet does not enable anything; the widget’s own settings live under Settings → Integrations → Embed Widgets.
When it goes wrong
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| “No generation activity yet.” | No generator has been asked for a draft in 30 days. Not an error. |
| “No insight templates yet” | Nothing is wrong. Create one, or rely on the system templates. |
| Read-only on a template you want to change | It is a system template. Clone the idea into a new custom template instead. |
| Your template never appears | Check Active, the Start Date and End Date, the Audience, and whether a higher-Priority template is winning on that route. |
| A targeted route shows nothing | The route in Target Routes must match the app’s own path. Leave the field empty to test on all pages first. |
