Daily Briefing
Start each day with a personalized digest of what needs attention — approvals, deadlines, wins, and news — delivered in-app or by email, Slack, or Teams.
The Daily Briefing is a personalized morning digest for owners and administrators: instead of opening five modules to see what changed overnight, one page summarizes what needs your attention, quick wins you can knock out, upcoming deadlines, and — if you want it — relevant external news for your sector.
Find it at Intelligence → Daily Briefing. Access is limited to owner and admin roles, since the briefing draws on data across your whole organization.
Your First Briefing
Open the page and click Generate Today’s Briefing. Muin assembles the digest from your live data — pending approvals, overdue items, recent activity, deadlines — organized into sections you can expand and collapse. Items deep-link to the records they describe, and some sections offer one-click approval for batches of routine items like expense or leave approvals.
Use Refresh any time to regenerate today’s briefing with the latest data.
Make It Yours
The Preferences section at the bottom of the page controls everything:
Schedule
- Enable Daily Briefing — turn automatic generation on or off.
- Delivery Time — when your briefing is ready each day (default 7:00 AM).
- Frequency — every day, weekdays only, or weekly on Mondays.
- Delivery Channel — in-app only, or also pushed to email, Slack, or Microsoft Teams.
Content
- Include in Briefing — toggle external news & industry updates, market data & regulatory changes, and the wins & progress summary.
- Max Items Per Section — keep it scannable (1–10 items per section).
- Industry Keywords — steer external news toward topics you care about (e.g., “nonprofit compliance”, “grant funding”).
- Competitor Names — track specific organizations in your news section.
History
The Text History and Audio History tabs keep past briefings, so you can look back at what was flagged earlier in the week.

Feedback Makes It Better
Each briefing carries a quick feedback control. Rating briefings tunes what shows up — flag the noise, and the digest gets sharper.
