Getting Help in Muin
Every way to find answers inside Muin — the help panel, keyboard shortcut, Help Center, guided tours, tooltips, and Ask Muin chat.
Muin builds help into every screen, so you rarely have to leave what you’re doing to find an answer. This guide covers each layer, from quickest to deepest.
The Help Panel — press ?
Press the ? key on any page (or click the help icon in a page header) to open the help panel. It slides in from the side without interrupting your work and shows:
- Contextual articles — guides and FAQs matched to the page you’re on right now
- Unified search — search docs, FAQs, and blog posts without leaving the page
- Take a Tour — guided walkthroughs available for the section you’re in
Press ? again or Escape to close it. The shortcut is disabled while you’re typing in a field, so it never interrupts data entry.
The Help Center
Open Help from the navigation (or go to /help) for the full library, organized in three tabs:
| Tab | What’s in it |
|---|---|
| Docs | Feature guides, quick starts, and how-tos — featured guides first, then browse by category |
| FAQs | Short answers to common questions, with popular questions surfaced at the top |
| Blog | Product announcements and deep dives from the Falaah blog |
The search bar at the top searches all three at once and shows a per-tab result count, so you can see at a glance whether your answer lives in a doc or an FAQ.
Guided tours
Tours walk you through a feature step by step, highlighting real controls on the page. Find them in the help panel’s Take a Tour section — the list changes based on the section of the app you’re in. New accounts also get a welcome tour from the Getting Started checklist on the home page.
Tooltips
Small help icons next to fields and controls explain what something means and how it behaves. Hover (or focus) to read them — many include an extended note for the details that don’t fit in one line.
Article feedback
Every help article ends with a quick Was this helpful? vote. Use it — feedback flows straight into how we prioritize which guides get expanded next.
Ask Muin
When you’d rather just ask, use Ask Muin — the chat assistant knows your organization’s data and the platform docs. It’s available from the chat bubble on every page and from the “Still need help?” card at the bottom of the Help Center.
Contact support
For anything the docs and chat can’t solve, email contact@falaah.ai — the same address is linked from the Help Center’s support card.
