What is Tax Ready Personal?
Muin Tax Ready for one tax year, for individuals with Schedule C income. It includes the readiness score, your home office, miles and tax forms for that year, and the tax package for your preparer.
Who is Tax Ready Personal for?
Individuals who file Schedule C, such as a sole proprietor or a single-member LLC, and want one tax year ready for their preparer.
How much does Tax Ready Personal cost?
$29, paid once, for one tax year. There is no monthly charge.
How long does my access last?
Through Oct 15 of the next year, the extended filing deadline. After that date, that tax year can no longer be bought.
Does it cover W-2 wages or investments?
No. Tax Ready Personal covers your Schedule C records. Your preparer handles W-2 wages and investments from your other documents.
Does Muin file my return?
No. Muin does not compute tax, fill in or file a return, or e-file. It gets your records ready for your preparer or your filing software.
What is in the tax package?
A ZIP file for your preparer. It holds your tax lines as a CSV and a PDF, expenses that still need a receipt, large purchases to review, contractors who may need a 1099, your tax-year details and a MANIFEST file listing every file in the package.
How are my home office and miles recorded?
You enter the square footage you use only for business and the total square footage of your home. Muin totals your business miles for the year from the mileage on your expense reports, so you do not type them twice.
Which tax forms can I upload?
1099-K forms from Stripe or another payment processor, other 1099s you received and last year's return, so your preparer has them in one place.
Can I move to Muin Tax Ready later?
Yes. Move within the same tax year and what you paid for Tax Ready Personal counts toward Muin Tax Ready. That credit ends on Jan 1 of the next year. See the [Tax Ready page](/products/tax-ready) for its price.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 30 days of buying, as long as the credit toward Muin Tax Ready has not been spent.
