Creating a form takes just a few steps: 1. Go to **Forms** in the left sidebar 2. Click **Create Form** (or choose a template for common use cases) 3. Enter a form name and description 4. Drag fields from the left panel onto the form canvas — choose from text, dropdown, date, file upload, email, phone, and more 5. Configure each field with labels, placeholder text, validation rules, and help text 6. Add conditional logic if needed (show or hide fields based on answers) 7. Click **Preview** to test the form 8. Click **Publish** to make it live You can also click **Create with AI** and describe the form you need in plain language. Muin AI generates the form with appropriate fields and logic, which you can then review and adjust.
Muin's form builder includes a comprehensive set of field types: | Field Type | Description | |------------|-------------| | **Short Text** | Single-line text input | | **Long Text** | Multi-line text area | | **Email** | Email address with format validation | | **Phone** | Phone number with formatting | | **Number** | Numeric input with min/max | | **Currency** | Money amount with currency symbol | | **Date / Time** | Date picker and time picker | | **Dropdown** | Select one option from a list | | **Radio** | Single choice with visible options | | **Checkbox** | Multiple choice selection | | **Toggle** | Yes/No switch | | **File Upload** | Accept documents, images, and attachments | | **Signature** | Digital signature capture | | **Rating** | Star or numeric rating | | **Address** | Full address with autocomplete | You can also add layout elements like section headers and instructional paragraphs to organize longer forms.
All form submissions are collected and viewable in one place: 1. Go to **Forms** and select the form 2. Click the **Submissions** tab 3. Browse submissions with filters for status (New, In Review, Approved, Rejected), date range, and search by submitter name or content 4. Click any submission to view the full details, attached files, contact resolution status, and workflow history 5. Take action: approve, reject, add internal notes, or export **Bulk actions** are available — select multiple submissions to approve, reject, export, or delete in batch. You can also export all submissions as CSV, Excel, JSON, or individual PDFs.
Yes. Muin forms can be shared and embedded in several ways: **Link sharing:** - Open the form editor and click **Share** --> **Copy Link** - Share the public URL via email, social media, or messaging **Inline embed:** - Copy the provided iframe code and paste it into your website's HTML - The form renders directly on your page and auto-resizes as the user progresses **Popup embed:** - Add the Muin embed script and a button with the form's data attribute - The form opens in a popup overlay when the button is clicked **QR code:** - Click **Share** --> **QR Code** to download a QR image - Print it for physical distribution at events, offices, or mailers All embedded forms support Smart Contact Resolution, conditional logic, and workflow triggers — the same features available in the full form builder.
