What is Chief of Staff?
A Solution sold per seat. Each seat gives one person an assistant that reads their part of the organization along the reporting line and writes a morning briefing: Team status, Approvals waiting, Risks and Value delivered.
What is the difference between the Executive, Director and Manager seats?
How far down the reporting line the briefing reaches. Manager: the people who report directly to the person. Director: two levels down. Executive: everyone below the person. Every tier has the same four sections.
How much is a seat?
Per seat a month: Executive $100, Director $75, Manager $50. A yearly seat costs ten months of the monthly price: $1,000, $750 or $500. Seats sit on top of a Muin plan.
Can two discounts apply to a seat?
No. Only one discount applies to a seat line. If two could apply, the larger one is used.
How do I buy seats and give one to a person?
Go to **Settings → Platform → Assistants**. Enter the number of seats you want for each tier and click **Buy seats**; the total is shown before anything is charged. Then click **Give someone a seat**, pick the person and the tier, and set a monthly AI credit cap if you want one.
Can the briefing show records the person cannot open?
No. Each section reads only what the person could already open themselves. A section they have no access to says "No access" rather than showing as empty.
Can the assistant approve things for me?
No. It acts only with your own permissions. An action above your limit becomes an approval task for a person, and the assistant never approves on its own.
What happens when a seat reaches its credit cap?
The seat still gets its briefing, written from records only: no AI summary and no actions until the cap resets on the 1st or an admin raises it. The briefing says why. Leave the cap empty for no cap.
How does a person get their briefing?
On the Chief of Staff page, and each weekday morning by their own notification settings: in the app, by mobile push and by email. They change how they hear about it in **Settings → Notifications**.
How does the briefing know who is on my team?
It follows each employee's manager in HR. Admins see the people a briefing would miss under **Reporting lines to fix**: an employee with no manager, a manager who has left, a reporting cycle or a member with no employee record, each linked to the record to fix.
Can we see what the assistant read?
Yes. Each record the assistant reads is written to the audit log, so you can see what it looked at and for whom.
What happens when I free a seat?
The person stops getting a briefing from the next run, briefings already sent stay, and the seat goes back to its tier for someone else. You keep paying for the seat until you lower the seat count.
