Where do I download the Muin Go app?
Muin Go is free on the [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/app/muin-go/id6762321526) for iPhone and iPad (iOS 16.4 or later) and on [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ai.falaah.muin.go) for Android (Android 9 or later). Search for **Muin Go**, install it, and sign in with the same account you use on the web.
Full steps: [Install Muin Go and sign in](/docs/platform/mobile/installing-and-signing-in).
Can I sign in to Muin Go with Google or Apple?
Yes. On the sign-in screen tap **Continue with Google**, or on iPhone and iPad tap **Sign in with Apple**. You can also sign in with your email and password.
Use the same email address your organization invited. If Apple's **Hide My Email** is on, Apple gives Muin a private address that does not match your invitation, so sign in with your own email or turn off Hide My Email for Muin.
How do I switch to another organization in Muin Go?
Tap **Settings**, then under **Organization** tap **Switch Organization** and pick the organization. The row only shows if your account belongs to more than one organization.
Why can't I see a module in Muin Go?
The Home screen only shows modules your organization has turned on and your role allows. If a module is missing, ask your administrator to check that the module is on and that your role includes it on the web. Your permissions in the app always match your role on the web.
Does Muin Go work without internet?
Partly. Event check-ins, the class time clock, expenses and receipt photos, in-kind pickups, cash payments and quick-add donations are saved on the phone and sent automatically when you are back online.
Card payments and Tap to Pay, check capture, document uploads, recording an expense payment and searching help need a connection. Card payments are never saved for later: an offline card payment is declined with a message so nothing is lost.
If something could not be sent, a red badge says it didn't save. Tap it to open **Work that didn't save** and tap **Try again**.
Which phones can take Tap to Pay payments?
An iPhone XS or later on iOS 16.4 or later, or an Android phone with NFC. iPads cannot take Tap to Pay, but they can take QR code, manual card entry and cash payments.
Your organization must also have card payments connected, and the phone must have Tap to Pay turned on in **Home** → **Smart Payments** → **Terminal Settings**. Run **Settings** → **Payment Reader Check** to confirm everything is ready.
What do I do if a card won't tap on my phone?
Tap **Try Again** and ask the payer to hold the card flat near the top of your phone until it confirms. If it still fails, tap **Try Another Way** and use **QR Code** (they pay on their own phone), **Manual Card Entry** or **Cash**.
If taps fail every time, run **Run Reader Check** from the failed payment screen. On Android, make sure NFC is turned on in your phone settings.
Can I refund a payment from Muin Go?
Not from the app. Muin Go shows each payment and its receipt history in **Transaction History**, but refunds are issued on the web from the payment. See [Refunds and disputes](/docs/platform/payments/refunds-and-disputes).
How do I submit an expense for reimbursement from my phone?
Go to **Home** → **Nonprofit** → **Submit Expense**, tap **Take Receipt Photo**, and Muin fills in the vendor, amount and date. Check the details, pick a category and what it was for, and tap **Send Expense**. You can follow it under **Expenses** → **Mine**.
If you see "Your account is not linked to a person record", ask your administrator to link your login to your staff or volunteer record.
How do I check in someone who didn't register?
Open the event, tap **View Roster**, then **Add walk-in**. Enter their first and last name (email, phone and notes are optional) and tap **Add & Check In**. If the event is full, raise the capacity on the web first.
Where is help inside the Muin Go app?
Tap **Settings**, then **Help & Support** → **Help Center**. Search the guides on the **Search** tab or browse the most common questions on the **FAQs** tab. Guides open inside the app. If nothing matches, tap **Ask Muin**, or use **Contact Support** to email the support team.
