Subcontractor Management is a Solution for general contractors. It includes everything in Vendor Compliance, the Compliance Tracker and AI Document Capture, on top of a Muin plan.
Documents collected and read
Each sub uploads its certificates of insurance, W-9 and licences through a private link. Subs do not need an account.
Muin reads coverage, limits, dates and additional insured from each certificate, files it with the sub and checks it against your requirements. A sub with a missing or expiring document is reminded every 7 days, and gets a renewal notice 30, 14 and 7 days before a certificate expires.
Payment held until the sub is compliant
A bill from a sub whose required insurance has lapsed is held.
- A payment run shows Held: COI lapsed. and refuses that sub’s bills.
- The hold clears by itself when an accepted certificate arrives.
- To pay one bill before then, someone requests an override with a reason and a second person approves it. The override covers that one bill.

Licence and certificate renewals and filing deadlines sit in one place, with reminders.
Procore (planned)
The Procore connection is planned and not available yet. Once it ships, your Procore subs arrive in Muin by job site. When you turn on write-back, their compliance goes back to Procore. It is off until you do. Write-back comes with Subcontractor Management only.
Not in the first release
Lien waivers per pay application and certified payroll are included. Sub prequalification is not in this release.

Subcontractor Management is priced by active vendors: $249 a month up to 50, $399 up to 150 and $549 up to 400. Above 400 active vendors, contact us. Starting its trial starts a 30-day plan trial with Subcontractor Management on top.
