Restricted funds, kept restricted.
Muin tracks every fund with its own spending rules, and reports by fund and restriction class, from the same books you run the organization on.

Rules that live on the fund
Set what each fund may pay for: allowed expense types, a ceiling per category of spend, and a cap on the share that goes to salaries.
Checked when money goes out
Bill approvals, grant disbursements and aid payments are checked against the fund's rules. A breach is blocked until someone records why they are going ahead.
A warning before the limit
At 90% of a limit you get a warning instead of a block, so you see it coming.
Reports by fund and restriction
The Statement of Activities shows each net-asset class, With and Without Donor Restrictions, with a block per fund, and downloads as a PDF for the board.
Releases you can see
A release from restriction shows as its own line, so the board sees money move from restricted to unrestricted instead of guessing.
Nothing hidden
Activity posted without a fund lands in General Operations, in plain sight, and the same postings feed your Form 990.
Frequently asked questions
Keep every restricted dollar where the donor put it
Set the rules once, and Muin checks them every time money goes out.
