Grant Compliance is a Solution for post-award grant compliance. It sits on top of a Muin plan and covers the grant from the first search to the final report.

A daily check on every award

Every day the Grant Compliance Agent reads the award, its period, its budget categories, its report due date and the spending posted to the grant’s fund in your Muin books. It raises a task when:

• a budget category has gone over;
• spending is running ahead of or behind the award period;
• a report is coming due or is late;
• a period is ending with a large amount unspent.

It also points out open bills that qualify to be charged to the award and indirect cost you can claim, each with the ledger lines behind it.

Proposals drafted from your records

The proposal assistant asks only what it cannot find in your records. The Proposal Drafter then writes each section and cites the source of every figure. You can also upload an application you wrote, in Muin or anywhere else, and have it reviewed against the grant before you send it.

Federal buying rules

With the Spend module on, purchase orders paid with federal or pass-through award money are checked against the 2 CFR 200 procurement rules, and the record your auditor samples is kept with each order. See Grant Procurement Rules.

Grant Compliance is $100 a month list price, or $1,000 a year, on top of a Muin plan. Starting its trial starts a 30-day plan trial with Grant Compliance on top.
