Facility Management: Four Agents on Your Buildings
Facility Management watches facility audits, use caps, change of use and inspections for organizations that own or run a building. Available today in the Muin platform.
Facility Management runs in the Muin platform today: start a 30-day trial on a Platform Plan. A standalone Facility Management product comes later; you can get one email when it opens on the Facility Management page.
Facility Management is a Solution for organizations that own or run a building. Four facility agents read your bookings and records and alert your inbox before something is missed.
The four agents
Facilities auditor. One scored report per site from the records you already keep. It lists the records a reviewer expects and does not find first, then ranks the next actions.
Use-cap monitor. It counts the days outside parties used your property this fiscal year and separates commercial use. It alerts your inbox when that use passes, nears or is booked to pass its day cap.
Change-of-use watcher. It compares two years of bookings and reports any renter and use that is new this year and recurring.
Inspection-interval monitor. It watches your recurring inspections and alerts your inbox when one is past due. It is marked critical once 30 days late.
What the agents need
Your bookings, permits and inspections in Muin. Add them before the first run, or there is nothing to score. The Idle time and Audit check reports in Facility Rentals are produced by these agents. See the Facility Management guide.
The agents report the pattern and the records. They never say what you owe.
Price
Facility Management is $100 a month list price, or $1,000 a year, on top of a Muin plan, and starts with a 30-day trial.
Property managers who also need vendor insurance and a resident help desk can look at Property Management, which includes Facility Management.
