How to Take Payments on a Form and Sell Event Tickets in Muin
Let Muin draft a paid form and a first event for your kind of organization, put them on your website, go live, and see submissions, payments and sign-ups in one place.
Forms and Events puts a form that takes payments on your own website, and your events with their RSVPs and tickets. A salon takes deposits, a tutor takes registration fees, a venue holds dates, a mosque registers children for weekend school and fills its community dinner.
What it costs
| Tier | What you get | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 1 form | $0 |
| Paid | Unlimited forms, events included | $19 a month |
It starts with a 30-day trial of the paid tier, with no card.
Step 1: Open Forms and Events
In Muin, open Products, then Forms and Events. Its Product Home has the setup checklist, Run setup, Install on your website and Go live.
Step 2: Press Run setup
Muin works out what kind of organization you are from your profile, then your website, then your industry. It drafts two things:
- A paid form that fits: a new client intake, an appointment deposit, a class registration, a program application, a weekend school registration or a booking inquiry. It has its price, a confirmation email and a thank-you message.
- A first event, three weeks out, with its places and either free RSVPs or a ticket.
Both are drafts. Nobody sees them until you publish.
Step 3: Connect payments, then publish
Payers pay into your own Stripe account, so connect Stripe first. Then check the form’s price and questions and publish it, and check the event’s date and places and publish it.
Step 4: Put them on your website
Under Install on your website, copy the snippet for your form, your event, or your whole calendar, and paste it on your site. On WordPress, the Muin plugin has a Muin Form block and a Muin Events Calendar block. Once someone opens them on your site, the checklist says Seen on your website.
Step 5: Go live
Press Go live. Muin checks that you can take payments, that a paid form is published, and that payers get a confirmation. If something is missing, it says what and where to fix it. Events never hold you back: a form-only business goes live without one.
Muin never charges a test payment for you. Open your form and pay it yourself to see what your payers see.
What you see every month
The Product Home shows this month’s submissions, the payments collected through forms and tickets, and the RSVPs and tickets sold. Each number opens the list behind it. Every submission that arrives by itself also counts as time saved on your Value page.
