Muin will connect directly to Gusto, automatically syncing your employee data to keep your systems in perfect harmony.

What Syncs

Gusto → Muin (Pull)

  • Employees: Names, emails, job titles, hire dates, employment status, and manager relationships
  • Departments: Organizational structure with automatic department creation
  • Managers: Reporting line assignments synced from Gusto job data
  • Status changes: New hires and terminations reflected in real time via webhooks
  • Payroll visibility: View payroll runs with gross/net pay, taxes, and per-employee pay stubs

Muin → Gusto (Push)

  • New employees: Create W-2 employees in Muin, automatically pushed to Gusto with tax forms and direct deposit
  • Contractors: Onboard 1099 contractors in Muin, synced to Gusto with bank details
  • Timesheets: Approved time entries push directly to Gusto payroll
  • Onboarding: Complete onboarding in Muin and the employee appears in Gusto automatically

Getting Started
